The AIDS PARTNERSHIP is a 501 (c) 3 whose office is at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Clearwater TheInternational AIDS Candlelight Memorial Service
The AIDS Partnership has sponsored the Pinellas participation in the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial for the last 14 years. The first year we started this interfaith Service, it was odd to see "Pinellas Park" along with Paris and other names of cities around the world on the poster where a Memorial was to take place. Sadly, the number of official cities have decreased GREATLY and this year and the last two The Partnership was the only "Host" of a Service in FL. The Service travels around the county and types of Faith Communities. The Memorial Service, this year, takes place King of Peace MCC 3150 5th Ave St. Petersburg. The tolling of the AIDS Memorial Bells will conclude the event. Sadly, the need for tollers grows every year, please consider tolling this year.
AIDS Memorial Bells: Founded separately by the volunteer Executive Director of The AIDS Partnership, The BELLS are now in the care and custody of Empath Health’s Hospice of the Suncoast Foundation and Empath Partners in Care ( EPIC), formally known as AIDS Service Associates of Pinellas There is a Sponsored Bell for each year of the Proclaimed Pandemic, first one tolled singly, adding each Bell in sequence until all sound together once and then abrupt silence. Thirty-five BELLS will be tolled this Maybe are always looking for tollers for the Service and to grow the event from the last few years.
Tampa Bay AIDS Memorial Quilts: “Regional Quilts “Made by both care organizations and individuals from the Bay Area, memorializing programs and individuals. Many quilts are not in The Names Project traditional 6x3 dimension.
Continuous Reading and Power Point of names and pictures: Of those lost to AIDS.

Construction of a multi-purpose building for Bishop Larkin Catholic School, in Port Richey, will soon be underway! The school is celebrating this exciting expansion with a Groundbreaking Ceremony at the school on Thursday, May 25 at 10:00 a.m. Construction is set to begin soon after this current school year ends.
Even though they have waited a very long time for this facility, Bishop Larkin Principal Sister Regina Ozuzu and the Bishop Larkin Catholic School Community are “delighted that it will finally come to fruition.” The new multi-purpose building will be constructed immediately adjacent to the current school building, replacing the outdoor pavilion the school has used for over two decades for school lunches. The school is looking forward to being able to better serve the needs of the Bishop Larkin students by having a cafeteria and gymnasium as well as a place to welcome families and the community for events throughout the year.
Bishop Larkin Catholic School first opened to students in 1989 on the grounds of St. James the Apostle Catholic Church in Port Richey. In 1998, after moving locations several times, the school found a permanent home adjacent to St. James Catholic Church.
Sister Regina offers her “sincere thanks to the many people who saw the need for a multi-purpose facility for our school community” and to Bishop Gregory L. Parkes and the Diocese of St. Petersburg for supporting this expansion project.
Bishop Larkin offers academic excellence and a caring, nurturing, safe environment to students in PreK-3 through Grade 8. Bishop Larkin is financially friendly with free VPK and scholarships available. Go to bishoplarkin.org or facebook.com/BishopLarkin to learn more.
